Free Client Services- No One Turned Away!

  • Weekly Free Legal Clinics every Wednesday from 12-1 pm at the Guthrie Center Free Lunch Program at 4 Van Deusenville Rd. Great Barrington, MA
  • Community Free Legal Clinics scheduled for the general public at community events, town halls, community centers, libraries, etc.
  • Legal, Social and Community Referral Program
  • Pro-Bono legal representation in civil matters on a limited basis.

Direct Legal Services:

  • BCJ is one of only 23 known nonprofit legal organizations offering sliding scale direct legal services in the country in civil matters.

Community Education:

  • Know Your Rights for Schools – Community Education Programs tailored to high school and college students, including criminal education.
  • Know Your Rights for Clients – Community education is specific to the client’s issue and may include skills like writing a Motion or Answer, negotiating town administrations, etc.
