Read the Berkshire Edge’s profile on our founder and the powerful contributions that the Berkshire Center for Justice makes to our community!
What would happen if the Berkshire Center for Justice didn’t exist?
What would happen to the middle-age cancer patient threatened with eviction in a trailer park? Or to the to the widow whose home was being foreclosed? Or the grandparent who cosigned a student loan but can no longer afford the payments?
The stories go on and on. That’s why BCJ must go on and on. But the truth is we operate on a shoestring budget. As we take on more and more clients, on a pro bono or sliding scale basis, our resources are increasingly strained.
Be thankful this holiday season that if the need arose, you could afford a lawyer. Please help those in our community who can’t.
We’re a 501c3 so your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. And your donations are so necessary for the work we do. We couldn’t do it without you!
Donations can be made by check to: BCJ 284 Main St. Suite #7 Great Barrington, MA 01230, or with Paypal on our website: https://berkshirecenterforjustice.org/.
Amazon Smile will donate to BCJ, at no extra cost to you, .05% of your purchase amount when you choose us as your charitable organization of choice, so please remember us during holiday season and all year long!
On behalf of the board of the Berkshire Center for Justice and myself, thank you!
Eve Schatz, Esq.
