The Free Legal Clinic has served over 2,000 people through our outreach, intake and direct legal service programs. Our clients are diverse representing numerous ages and cultural backgrounds many of whom are in transition. The Berkshire Center for Justice has 24 referred pro bono and reduced fee attorneys, and is a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. - In May 2007, Founder and Executive Director, Eve Schatz is an honored recipient of Great Barrington’s Unsung Heroine Award and received citations from Governor Patrick, The Massachusetts Senate, House of Representatives, and the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women for her work founding BCJ.
